Successful and established Media & Entertainment Company is searching for a Director of Programming to lead all programming and acquisition efforts for the PPV and VOD services of the company. In this role, you will be expected to maintain the current success of the business and maximize revenues through efficiency, innovation and strategic planning.

Responsibilities include:

• Execute programming strategy including selection of programs to be exhibited and the look of the channels and packages.
• Responsible for the Scheduling of a number of different linear PPV channels as well as the creation of the monthly metadata sheets for numerous VOD packages.
• Selecting titles for exhibition in other markets each month including for other modes of delivery such as IPTV and Embedded Platforms.
• Actively evaluate and license movies as well as studio output deals for worldwide broadcasting exploitation.
• Identify existing programming opportunities to add to viewer experience and/or programming slate
• Monitor competitive landscape daily as well as research data, recommending schedule and programming adjustments
• Responsible for ensuring that contractual obligations are met by production companies, and that deadlines for program deliverables are enforced
• Oversee content database to make sure that all movies licensed are exhibited within their license period and that the Finance team accurately knows the correct studio for each movie exhibited.
• Supervise traffic, editing, quality control and scheduling staff

Qualifications include:

• 5 plus years of scheduling and acquisitions experience
• Experience with VOD and PPV programming and scheduling
• Adept at working in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication skills and attention to detail required
• Supervisory and project management experience
• Strong negotiating skills
• Degree in related field preferred

Boutique management company is seeking an assistant who is interested in becoming a manager. Previous assistant experience required, preferably at a management firm or agency. Must be well organized, proactive, focused and good with people. Job duties include filing, faxing, copying, answering phones, setting meetings, making/confirming reservations, creating itineraries and anything else that may come up. Job is part time to start, but may become full time. For the right person, this position could lead to a Jr. Manager job, as this is a fast growing firm with huge growth opportunity. *SHOW RUNNER / DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE
Show Runner for reality, documentary and episodic television programming and feature comedic and animated scripts we currently have in house. This position will be ongoing as deal memo's are cut. *PRODUCTION ACCOUNTANT

Hiring Production Accountants to work on film and TV productions.

Production Accountants work closely with the Producer/Line Manager and the Production Office to prepare schedules and budgets for productions, as well as manage the day-to-day accounting office functions, and report the projects’ financial progress against the budgets. On larger productions, Production Accountants may work in collaboration with Senior Accountants/Financial Controllers.

We are looking for EXPERIENCED Production Accountants who are very familiar with the minutiae of the position.

Responsibilities include:
- Pre-Production: Assist in preparing budgets and estimated final cost reports
- Evaluate and approve purchase requisitions
- Organized VAT and PAYE registration
- Oversee payments, vendor receipts, enter P.O.’s
- Manage payroll, petty cash and foreign currency
- Keep accurate financial records, help monitor budgets and analyze cost expenditure
- Provide daily / weekly cost reports, as well as cost forecasts that evaluate financial impact of any production changes.
- Set up and maintain accounting system
- May have to deal with bank finance and completion guarantors
- Prepare Statement of Account detailing all income and expenditure, for the Producer or Production Company and the financiers, and finalize all financial records relating to the production
- Supervise Assistant Accountants and Accounts Trainees: setting work objectives, standards and outcomes and continuously monitoring performances.
