Lisa Wiegand is a Detroit native, LA based cinematographer who has
photographed award-winning independent features and television. She
has been featured several times in American Cinematographer
Magazine and has been awarded for "Excellence in Cinematography" by
the American Society of Cinematographers. Her films have been
distributed in theaters, on television, DVD as well as seen in
festivals around the world.
RECENT WORK “Dollhouse” Lisa was the main unit DP the 2nd season of Joss
Whedon’s “Dollhouse” on Fox, starring Eliza Dushku, Tahmoh
Penikett, Harry Lennix, Fran Kranz and Olivia Williams.

“24” The 7th season of Fox Television's "24" features Lisa's
work as a 2nd Unit Director of Photography.
"The Assignment" (dir. Tim Nelson, Prod. Jeff Miller) – In
post production and shot in Utah, the film stars Adam Baldwin,
French Stewart and Linsey Godfrey and tells the story of a girl who
finds out thru a homework assignment that her family isn't who she
thought they were.
“My Suicide” (dir. David Lee Miller, Prod. Eric Adams, Todd
Traina, Harold Ramis) starring Gabriel Sunday, Joe Mantegna, Harry
Shearer, David Carradine and Nora Dunn, about a high school student
who announces in his video production class that he is going to
commit suicide on tape for his final project. “My Suicide” won the
Crystal Bear for best feature at the Berlinale 2009 festival and is
continuing to win awards as it travels the festival circuit.
Lisa has worked extensively in film formats and is a pioneer in
digital cinema, shooting her first digital feature in 1999. She has
shot features with Panavision’s Genesis System, The Thompson Viper
and Sony’s F-900 and has worked with The Red and other HD systems.
The second season of Fox’s “Dollhouse” is being shot in HD on the
Panasonic Varicam using the P2 card workflow.
Lisa taught cinematography at The American Film Institute, UCLA,
and Loyola Marymount Universities for several years. She also
volunteers her skills to the Sundance Institute's Filmmaker's
Labs.
