Graduating from Northern Illinois University with a BA in Theatre Arts, she has successfully made the transition from stage to theatre, from Model to Actress to Producer. In just a few short years after transitioning from Chicago to Los Angeles, Nikki has written and/or produced several film projects, all of which have garnered festival selections at the Hollywood Black Film Festival, First Glance Film Festival, Naperville International Film Festival, and more!

In late 2007, she founded the popular women’s film group, REEL Ladies, which now has over 1000 members and growing. Interviewing, networking & featuring various women in the entertainment industry ranging from beginners to Academy Award Winners/Nominess, she has gained valuable industry connections, alliances and sponsors.

In 2010, Nikki produced the feature film “Dysfunctional Friends & a Funeral” starring Terrell Owens, Stacey Dash, Keith Robinson, Tatyana Ali and Meagan Good. Immediately following she also produced the teen flick "Three Times a Charm". She just recently wrapped on the short film entitled "Save Me" and currently is in Pre-Production on the feature film "The Last Fall", with Transparent Filmworks. Set for filming summer of 2011.

Stepping back in front of the camera, Nikki will be starring in her own film, "Tears of a Clown", a hard hitting drama tackling issues of postpartum psychosis, forgiveness and motherhood. Teaming up with some prominent Postpartum Advocates, she hopes to not only raise awareness about the film, but also raise awareness about the illness of Postpartum Psychosis.
