"Welcome to Reel Ladies. I enjoyed both of your shorts especially the background music for the 2nd. The beat when ATM Girl gets robbed was effectively used. What do you want to do differently with the music versus what you have now?"

Feminine Soul - women's indie opportunity

I'm developing a platform for women to express themselves through art. Each show is devoted to a different art genre ie film, dance, theatre (one acts/monologues), live music (bands/singers), spoken word/storytelling and fashion. Before the show, there is a marketplace/showcase and networking. Women who have fine art, jewelry, books, cds (of their music), dvds (of their films) etc will be able to have a space in the lobby. If you or anyone you know would be interested in performing or having a…See More

Been writing since birth. No really, pretty much since I was about 10. My Godmother gave me a diary and that set it off. Spike Lee made me want to be a writer/director. I watch lots of movies when I was young and I was tripped out by the fact that he was credited as doing that and producing his movies. I was like, "Wow, I can do more than one thing." That fit me pretty much perfectly because I like so many different things that I didn't want to be confined to one job. Being a writer allows you to explore so many different people and subjects, so that just fit. Being a director was an easy choice because I'm so visual in the way that I write that I literally saw the movie playing when I was writing a story. I like the idea of producing too, but more so creatively. It's pretty ironic because as an A.D. I'm traveling on a path to line producing. There's certain things about that I like, too. What can I say? I like to have my finger in a little bit of everything.
