I had an interesting conversation yesterday with my producing partners. They brought up lately that I've been saying "I can't" a lot these days. Especially when it comes to acting and certain roles. And the more I thought about it, I realized that since I've started saying "I can't", I haven't been booking!

I've lost my MOJO! I've lost that fire and that CAN DO attitude which is affecting my acting! I used to have a really good booking and/or…

ASCAP wants YouTube users to pay by VideoChick | July 10th, 2009

The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers; better known as ASCAP, is targeting videos on YouTube for royalty payment for it’s professional creative members. This is a good thing for producers who work hard at making their product, only to see that someone has “borrowed” some of that property clips for their own use. But the average consumer who just wants to make a simple video using a…

Is It Extra Slow This Year?
by Bob Fraser
Unemployment, the actor's constant companion and persistent worry, has been getting progressively
worse in the last six months.
The reasons behind this 'slow time' are many:
Banks have gotten stingy about making loans (even to big production companies). Many of the films over the last year have failed to make a significant profit and most have failed completely. The television audience is now dwindling…

James D. Stern: “Making Smarter Movies” or “I Need the Eggs!” - Now What?
by James D. Stern (June 20, 2009)
I know some of you were expecting Mark Gill to be back today and deliver a follow-up to last year’s speech, but unfortunately, on the way over, Mark was struck by a piece of falling sky. He was rushed to a Cineplex, where doctors have strapped him in a chair and ordered him to watch ‘UP’ in 3D for the duration of the…

So had a great meeting on Saturday with Brass Artists. Well....at least I THINK it went great! LOL! Hate when that happens, when you think you did fantastic and still no phone call!
So I am waiting to see what happens with that.
*Crossed fingers*
So just thought I would share and get any feedback if anyone has signed with them here. If so, how was the experience being represented by them?

ACTOR'S TOOL-KIT #4
QUOTES THAT WILL HELP YOU
by Bob Fraser
FAILURE & TRACKS
I'd like to pass along some words of wisdom from
seven very sharp people, who have all made their way
up the ladder of success by following their own advice
and probably the wisdom of each of the others.
First up is George Burns who made his living in 'on
the boards' for about 85 years (not a bad run), who
reminds…
