Nikki, yesterday's Demo Reel Showcase was a HUGE SUCCESS!! What a wealth of information and knowledge!! Thank you for, once again, providing us all with this great opportunity to learn, grow, network and so much more from some of the best in the Industry. I am blown away with the five fabulous women you had on your panel. Everyone should applaud themselves for being wise enough to invest such a small amount of time and money in themselves for such a hugh return as this event provided.

Each of your five speakers on the panel provided a wealth of information, education, direction and inspiration that will benefit us all and not just the women that had their demo reels shown.... but all of us that were wise enough and fortunate enough to have attended this event. I believe that everyone left there last night literally empowered!! Each of these five fabulous speakers contributed such an amazing amount of direction and valuable information to us all that I am sure we all can and will benefit from continuously.

Nikki! The event inspired this letter to go out to everyone about Networking!

Yesterday I had the privilege to be invited to sit on a panel with Twinkie Byrd (Casting Director - Notorious), Sherrie Henderson (Dream Big Casting with 56 films so far), Sharon Morris (Agent - Actor's LA), Kathleen Schultz (Agent - Kathleen Schultz Associates) at Nikki Love's Reel Ladies Demo Reel Seminar at an exclusive Beverly Hills restaurant. I had put out information about this event for 3 weeks and only 1 of my 1000's of students past and present submitted her demo and got picked to showcase. She will probably secure an agent and she most definitely picked up 2 fans in Twinkie and Sherrie. It also didn't hurt for me to be pushing her package in front of them.

These events are a must folks! You can pay to be seen by casting directors in a classroom situation and they might remember you, however what you really need to understand is that those who party with you are most likely to work with you. If I could tell you the exact secret to "making it" I would be laying out on the beach in the Bahamas in my new home on the beach. What I can tell you is that you've got to get out of your house and network. I have invited my students to screenings, festivals, castings, red carpet events, speaking engagements and seminars for ages and only 1% show up. I believe that is why only 1% make it. Get busy people. Figure out where to put your time. Organize what is going to be most effective to moving forward and making money in your business.

I know more than anyone that it is tough to do everything you need to do. Trust me, I'm working it 14 hours a day. I'm probably the only coach out there who actually helps you find an agent, meet people and work. You need to be seen by those who can represent you and hire you. I am constantly sending out notices supplied to me from producers and the actors who are the first to respond get the slot. The early bird will always get the worm. The same thing is true with all the online casting sites. Do you really think that by number 50 someone will look at your package? They set their session at about 12 actors for each role. This is a doggie dog business guys. Get in front of it and on it.

I will always be there for you. But you've got to want it more for yourself than I want it for you!
